The Prairie Sky is an all natural, hand-made, soft sculpture doll. She is stuffed with organic Eco- wool and organic millet (scented with organic lavender distilled extract.) Her skin is organic cotton, the body is muslin. The hair is alpaca wool yarn in shades of cobalt and charcoal. She is wearing a cotton dress of cobalt flannel plaid, with two underskirts of cotton prints and matching bloomers trimmed with cotton battenburg lace. The head shape is hand-tied with cotton twine, in the Waldorf-style, and her hair is hand-sewn. The facial features are hand embroidered in cotton floss. The blushed cheek tint is a nontoxic permanent tint. This doll is not poseable, but is weighted with sterile sand and organic millet so that she can sit on her own. Prairie Sky is about 18" tall, and wonderfully chubby. The clothing is completely handmade - even the pattern designs are our own. the shawl is hand knit in a stockinette stitch, and made of natural color alpaca wool yarn, and backed with a piece of the dress flannel.
